Made with grapes from vineyards in Aegialia, on the slopes of mountain Aroania, an area renowned for the excellent quality of it’s grapes and the wine produced in this region. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 450-100om which, combined with the soil, cultivation techniques and exposure to the gulf of Corinth provide the ideal microclimate and environment for the growth of excellent quality grapes.
Tetramytos produce their Retsina according to traditional methods using must from Roditis grapes fermented in traditional clay amphora and using pine resin from trees local to the vineyards.
