Our brand new Odysea Apple Balsamic Vinegar is an exciting addition to our condiment collection.
Produced in Italy from the juice of Golden and Red Delicious apples, and matured up to five years in oak barrels to create a sweet and fruity vinegar for light salad dressings. Add in marinades to caramelise grilled meats and splash few drops in fruit crumbles or fizzy mixers and cocktails.
Flavour profile notes: sweet and highly aromatic with a velvety smooth mouthfeel and a pleasant fruity acidity
Proud 2-star winner on this year’s Great Taste Awards, the judges have described it as ‘mahogany brown and deeply glossy with a pronounced vinegar nose of ripe apples and caramel’, while others added it is ‘a dark, sweet and tangy vinegar with fruity notes…a long flavour profile and a clean finish’ and praised it as ‘well-balanced….equally excellent over a goats cheese salad or with fresh strawberries.’
