The design of this gorgeous brass pepper mill is based on the coffee grinders used by Greek soldiers when out in the field some 300 years ago.

Our salt mills have a plastic grinding mechanism suitable for grinding dry sea salt or rock salt. Not suitable to use with “wet” sea salt, or salt flakes as they might clog and affect the mechanism.

Without doubt the most beautiful and best brass mills we have found.
