Xinomavro is a one of the most interesting Greek red wines, a variety indigenous to the Greek soil with a unique character. It is known for its fruity and sweet aromas that have wild rose, tomato, tea leaves and earthy hints. The Thymiopoulos Naoussa Alta Red Wine is made from grapes that are grown in the mountainous vineyards of Phytia in Naoussa at an altitude of 500m.

Xinomavro wine resembles the Italian Nebbiolo as they are both aged in large oak barrels and are gently extracted, which allows aromas and flavors to emerge.
