Jewel like red colour with terracotta hues fortified wine. Aromatic notes of dried plum, dried fig and raisin. Flavours of pomegranate, walnuts, plums and light spice in the mouth. Warm & gently sweet with notes of tannins that enhance its structure. Complex and mature with a long finish. Ideal with salty dishes, blue cheese, desserts & chocolate, fruit and yoghurt with honey.

Produced from the Mavrodaphne grape variety, a wine grape variety indigenous to the Peloponnese peninsula, with methods similar to that of port wines and aged in oak barrels.

Think of a young, light port. Great as an aperitif or with cheese.
