Baked Apples stuffed with Almonds, Sultanas & Odysea Wild Thyme & Fragrant Herb Honey
Serve with Greek yoghurt, a drizzling of Odysea Wild Thyme & Fragrant Herb Honey and sprigs of fresh thyme.
Serves 4 (1 apple per person)
Medium Roasting Dish/Baking Tin
Ingredients
- 4 Baking Apples
- 50g Ground Almonds
- 50g Sultanas
- 3 tbsp (45ml) Odysea Wild Thyme & Fragrant Herb Honey
- 25g Butter and a little extra for grease
- 60ml Water
- 1 x small pot of Greek yoghurt
Method
- Pre-heat oven to 200°C/ Gas Mark 6
- Core apples and score the skin in a spiral.
- In a bowl mix the ground almonds, sultanas and Odysea Wild Thyme & Fragrant Herb Honey. Fill in the centre of each apple with the mixture and top with a knob of butter.
- Place in a greased ovenproof dish. Add the 60ml of water around the base of the apples and bake for 45-50 minuets, until the apples are tender and fluffy.
- In a small bowl mixed together the Greek yoghurt and 30ml of Odysea Wild Thyme & Fragrant Herb Honey. Serve the apples topped with a spoonful of the yoghurt mix and a sprig of thyme to decorate.
